The B7 Lxi combines the two upgrades Alpina offered separately on the standard B7 – the long-wheelbase body for extra rear legroom and xDrive all-wheel drive – which makes it the rarest, most fully-equipped version of the car built during this generation's run. Front End is the most common damage at 50%. There's essentially no sold volume to build a price around here, and a make-wide BMW median wouldn't come close to reflecting a car this exclusive – value depends almost entirely on how complete and original it is. Most stay in the US, picked up locally or shipped in-country.
Mechanically it shares its supercharged V8 and 6-speed automatic with the rest of the B7 line, so the same oil-consumption check on the valve stem seals applies here too. What's unique to the Lxi is having both the extra length of the long-wheelbase body and the xDrive front differential and transfer case to inspect – a front hit is more involved to price than on a rear-wheel-drive B7 Li, and the added weight over a longer wheelbase puts more strain on the air suspension.
