Introduced in 1963, Lamborghini burst onto the Italian automotive scene with power, comfort, and refinement to match other grand touring cars. It did not take long for the brand to captivate the rest of the world as it established the high-performance car layout of a rear mid-engine with rear-wheel drive. In addition to sports cars, Lamborghini manufacturers V12 engines for offshore powerboats. Like many high-end brands, Lamborghini has survived numerous downturns and shakeups.
Beginning with the Miura in 1966, Lamborghini has given the world a variety of envied vehicles—the Gallardo, Gallardo S, Huracan, Murcielago, and Countach among them. Though not common, used Lamborghini cars for sale do come up for auction.
