Navigating our ever-evolving world's complex and demanding challenges requires a robust education. In light of this, A Better Bid is taking strides to foster more opportunities for individuals to acquire a comprehensive education and drive meaningful change.
In this vein, one of our key initiatives is cultivating future leaders.
As such, we're thrilled to unveil the 2023 A Better Bid Annual College Scholarship, expressly designed to support students advancing their STEM-related education.
STEM is an abbreviation denoting study areas that include Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. According to the Department of Education, this extends to natural sciences (physical, biological, and agricultural sciences), computer sciences, engineering, mathematics, and their correlated fields.
These correlated fields encompass the domains of research, innovation, and the development of new technologies that derive their foundations from the primary STEM fields.
To help students finance their education, A Better Bid will present a $1,000 scholarship to a selected student applicant for use toward their degree. Additionally, two runners-up will each receive a $250 scholarship to assist in covering their textbook costs.
