British car manufacturer MG Cars operated from 1924 until 2008, before being acquired in 2009 by China’s SAIC Motor. Rebranded as MG Motor, this subsidiary of SAIC Motor UK today produces several vehicles and recently revived its roots in competitive motorsport, even winning the British Touring Car Manufacturers Championship in 2014, the year of its 90th anniversary. Just three years prior to that, MG launched its first all-new model in 16 years. 

MG Motor vehicle sales have not been incredibly voluminous in recent years, with the company putting prime focus on the quality of its vehicles over quantity. Those looking for a used MG car for sale are most likely to find an MG5, GS, LE50, MG6, MG3, or TF.
