The Fusion is Ford's discontinued mid-size sedan – usually a few hundred lots live in Ford's auction pool at once, and it's a budget car, so prices sit low. Over the last two years 83 salvage and repairable Fusions sold here, most for a winning bid between $900 and $2,400 before fees, with a median around $1,350; clean-title Fusions run a bit higher. Front-end hits led at 31% and are the cheapest to price – body panels are everywhere and cost next to nothing. Nobody's exporting these; they stay in the US as commuter rebuilds or parts, picked up locally or shipped in-country.
A Fusion isn't a truck, so forget the frame – it's a unibody, and a hard front hit can push damage back into the rails and strut towers that a thumbnail won't show. The base 2.5 is the simplest rebuild; the 1.5 and 2.0 EcoBoost add a turbo and a timing chain to price in, and the Sport packs a 2.7 twin-turbo with AWD if you want the quick one. Watch the Hybrid and Energi plug-in versions – the high-voltage battery sits low, and a flood or a hard rear hit can total the pack, which wipes out any deal. Water is the real killer on these anyway: the car sits low, and a flooded interior ruins the electronics for good. If you just want an engine or a clean shell, the "blown motor" and non-repairable Fusion lots go cheap for swaps and parts.
Buying is quick: register free – no dealer license – set a maximum bid and the system bids up to that cap, or take a car at its Buy Now price. Win it, pay the invoice plus fees, then pick up, ship or export.
Note: ACV and damage data come from the original auction listing. Always check the condition and title yourself before you bid.

FAQ
FAQ What condition are these Fusions in?
About 1,568 lots, 73% on a salvage title and the rest clean or rebuilt. Front-end and side hits are the usual damage, with plenty of hail and minor-dent cars mixed in; mileage averages around 138,000.
Is a salvage Fusion worth buying?
For a cheap commuter or a first rebuild, often yes – parts are everywhere and body work is cheap. Recent Fusions sold for a median winning bid around $1,350 before fees, so the margin is thin: cap your bid near half of clean-title retail, minus your repair estimate. A flooded interior or a wrecked hybrid battery is where the math stops working.
What should I check before bidding?
On a Fusion it's the unibody rails and strut towers after a front hit, then the engine – the timing chain if it's a 1.5 or 2.0 EcoBoost. On Hybrid and Energi cars, look for flood and rear damage near the battery pack. Cross-check the title brand against the damage photos; they don't always agree.
Can I insure and register a salvage Fusion?
Not while it's salvage. You register and insure it only after it's rebuilt and passes a state inspection; once re-titled rebuilt, most insurers will write it – just not the one that totaled it. Check with your insurer before you bid.
How does the auction work?
Register free, no dealer license. Set a maximum bid and the system bids for you up to that cap, or take a lot at its Buy Now price. Win it, pay the invoice plus fees, then pick up, ship or export.
How do I check a Fusion's history before bidding?
Every lot lists the VIN, damage type and title brand. Run the VIN through a vehicle-history report for prior accidents, mileage and title events before you commit.
What are good alternatives to the Fusion?
Buyers cross-shop the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and Chevy Malibu in the same mid-size class. All three usually carry healthy salvage counts.
