Not enough Paseos change hands through this pool to build a model-specific median, since Toyota only sold it in the US from 1991 to 1999 and it was always a niche pick next to the Tercel it's built on. Across Toyota as a whole, a recent salvage or repairable car sold here for a median winning bid near $4,200 before fees, which is the most useful anchor until Paseo-specific sales stack up. What draws buyers now is the same thing that drew them new: a cheap, simple coupe that costs little to keep running. Most that sell stay with US buyers, picked up locally or shipped in-country.

Underneath the sportier styling, the Paseo shares its floorpan and most of its mechanicals with the Tercel, so parts and repair knowledge are easy to come by even now. The first-generation cars through 1995 ran a 1.5-liter 5E-FE four, and the 1996-and-later restyle bumped displacement slightly and added a bit more room without changing the basic recipe. Neither engine is powerful, so a lot advertised as a performance build is worth a skeptical look – this was always an economy car in a coupe body, not a Celica rival. Rust in the rear wheel arches and rocker panels is the usual age-related issue, more common than any mechanical failure. A shell that's too rough for the road still moves through the non-repairable Paseo lots for its interior and trim, since those parts are getting harder to find new.

Buying is quick: register free – no dealer license – set a maximum bid and the system bids up to that cap, or take a lot at its Buy Now price. Win it, pay the invoice plus fees, then pick up, ship or export.

Note: ACV and damage data come from the original auction listing. Always check the condition and title yourself before you bid.
