The CLE is the newest nameplate in Mercedes-Benz's lineup, replacing the old C-Class and E-Class coupe and convertible with a single model — so the pool here skews young and thin, with barely a lot or two trading in a given stretch. Across the make, a recent Mercedes-Benz cleared a median winning bid near $4,400 before fees, but a car this new usually clears well above that once it does show up, since demand for a still-current Benz coupe is high and clean examples are scarce. Nearly all of these stay in the US, picked up locally or shipped in-country.
Two things make the CLE different from an older Mercedes coupe. First, the CLE300 runs a turbocharged four-cylinder with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, and the integrated starter-generator carries its own small high-voltage battery pack tucked near the trunk floor — worth a specific look on any rear-end or flood lot, since that pack isn't something you price from the photos alone. Second, the CLE450 steps up to a turbocharged inline-six with the same mild-hybrid layer, and it shares its underlying structure with the current C-Class and E-Class sedans, so mechanical parts are more available than the coupe's age would suggest. Because the model is so new, most lots are still within their factory warranty window unless the damage itself voided it, which is worth confirming with a dealer before you bid. If a lot's too far gone to rebuild, the non-repairable listings are the exception rather than the rule here.
Buying is quick: register free — no dealer license — set a maximum bid and the system bids for you up to that cap, or take a lot at its Buy Now price. Win it, pay the invoice plus fees, then pick up, ship or export.
Note: ACV and damage data come from the original auction listing. Always check the condition and title yourself before you bid.
