Base and R/T Stealths are front-wheel drive with a naturally aspirated V6, simple to service and cheap to keep running by comparison. The R/T Twin Turbo is the one people chase – a twin-turbocharged 3.0 V6 driving all four wheels – so on cars this age, confirm both turbos still spool and check that nobody neglected the all-wheel-drive transfer case, since parts for that driveline are neither cheap nor easy to find anymore. Some top trims added four-wheel steering, a genuinely unusual feature for the era, and it's worth testing that the rear wheels actually turn at low speed rather than assuming a badge means it still works. These are 1990s Japanese-sourced components under a Dodge badge, so trim and electronics parts are harder to source than on a domestic car of the same age, which makes a complete, unmolested interior worth more than the drivetrain alone. Rust and tired suspension bushings are standard concerns on a car pushing thirty years old, whatever the damage report says.
