Too few S6s move through Audi's auction pool to build a model-specific price, so the make-wide $2,950 median before fees is the fairest number to bid against, and a straight S6 typically lands above it. Front End is the damage type that shows up most on the cars that do sell. Most stay in the US, picked up locally or shipped in-country.
The S6 has carried three very different hearts. The C6 generation, sold 2007 through 2011, used a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 shared with the same family as an early R8's engine – a thirsty, high-revving unit that's rare enough now to draw its own audience of buyers regardless of the rest of the car's condition. The C7 generation, from 2013, switched to a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, part of the same 4.0 TFSI family used across the RS6, RS7 and S8 – a documented chain-tensioner and carbon-buildup risk applies to all of them, so ask for service history before trusting a clean-sounding example. The current generation runs a turbocharged six instead. Quattro is standard throughout, and on any generation a front hit worth investigating for driveline damage the photos alone won't reveal. A clean-title S6 is worth comparing against before you commit to a rebuild, since the gap between clean and salvage tracks engine generation as much as damage severity.
Buying is quick: register free – no dealer license – set a maximum bid and the system bids up to that cap, or take a lot at its Buy Now price. Win it, pay the invoice plus fees, then pick up, ship or export.
Note: ACV and damage data come from the original auction listing. Always check the condition and title yourself before you bid.
